Processing your payment

All of our payments are processed using our secure Paypal Pro payment gateway. Paypal keep all your information safe. When you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won’t receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. This way, you don’t have to worry about paying people you don’t know.

You can pay for our service using a debit card, credit card or Paypal account, you do not need a Paypal account to make a payment. If you make a payment over the telephone then we use the secure Paypal payment portal to process your payment.

We do note share your credit or debit card details with anyone nor do we pass your payment details to any third party.

Additionally, when you pay with PayPal on any website PayPal Purchase Protection covers you if you have a problem. If an item doesn’t arrive or is significantly not as described Paypal will help you to get a full refund.

Payment Flow and Delivery Policy

The average processing time for a personal alcohol licence is approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the day of your training course, however this may very with different councils and may take longer on some occasions. An application for a personal licence can only be made when we are in receipt of the original certificate of training, APLH level 2 or SCPLH level 6 (Scotland) and valid in date DBS certificate.

On booking with us your booking confirmation sent within one working day of booking – by email (if requested) and training pack posted out second class post as standard or first class if course date is within three working days. Training course examination results are generally available after five working days from course date. However awarding bodies may take longer to issue examination results during busy term periods.

Training certificate’s are generally sent out second class post within 10 working days from your course date. DBS processing time is generally 10 to 14 days, however this may sometimes be quicker. It is essential that candidates send all information required for their personal licence promptly. Any information delay from a candidate may delay the licence processing time.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
If you book a training course or pay for our licence processing service then you may be able to cancel your booking or move your booking to a more suitable date. However please be aware you may be charged if we have started to process your application.

If you cancel a course within 7 days of the due date then there is a £50 administration charge.
There is also a £15.00 + VAT charge for amendments to your name or names booked on a training course. An administration charge for date changes will also be applied at £15.00 + VAT.

Our refunds policy may include charges if we have booked you a training placement and ordered you an examination paper. If you have attended a one day training course at one of our venues you may also be charged for this. If we have conducted a DBS check on your behalf or sent your application to a local council.

PayPal Purchase Protection covers you if you have a problem and a legitimate claim, however M B Licence Solution’s Ltd may make a counter claim against you for any cost incurred during the processing of your personal alcohol licence application.

We will en-devour to work with our customers to try and resolve any payment disputes should they arise during the application process for your personal alcohol licence.
