About your personal licence
If you are looking to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol in East Anglia then you require a personal licence. To obtain this, you must first gain the Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) qualification. Holding this certificate will then allow you to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol in a range of different venues including bars and pubs.
At PLExperts, we offer personal licence training courses in East Anglia that allow you to apply for a personal licence.

About the course
The duration of the training is one day (9 am until 5 pm)
At the end of the training day, candidates must sit a 40 question multiple-choice examination.
The required pass mark is 70%.

What is a Personal Licence?
A Personal Licence is granted to an individual which enables them to authorise the sales of alcohol from any given premises that holds a Premises Licence.
How long is the licence valid for?
The licence is valid for 5 years. Before it expires, you must take the APLH refresher course in order to avoid losing your licence.
